Overview
- Once you receive the registration email fill out the registration form to verify your account.
- Complete the Prequalification form for your company under Company Resources->Company Details->Prequalification Form
- You will be required to complete the site onboarding process for any Shadforth sites you are working on. Please note some sites may not be available to complete until they are setup in ShadConnect, you will be requested by sites to complete this when you are required to. If in doubt contact your Shadforth site representative to confirm this. This process can be found under Company Resources->Company Details->Site Onboarding.
- Invite your companies subcontractors under Company Resources->Company Details->Invite/Link Subcontractors so they can complete their registration and prequalification process.
- Invite your companies workers under Company Resources->Company Details->Invite/Link Workers. They will receive a registration invite to complete and they can upload tickets and complete induction courses. Make sure they install the ShadConnect app on their smart phone so they can digitally sign onto sites as needed.

- You will receive a registration email to verify your personal details. Follow this link and fill out your details and verify your mobile number

Once you have completed your registration you will be redirected to the below portal address to login with the details you entered into the registration form. If you are using a computer/laptop browser you can simply login to the website and create a bookmark for future reference. If you are using a mobile phone or tablet follow one of the guides below to install the app on your device.

The new ShadConnect Contractor app is a PWA app and does not need to be installed from an app store like a traditional mobile app. The app is simply installed from the website link. You will need to follow this process to install the app for all functions to operate fully.

Open the URL below with the Safari internet browser (must be Safari on a Apple device as other browsers cannot install the app) then follow the below steps
You must use Safari browser to install the app on a iOS device
- Once the site loads click the icon below at the bottom of Safari window.
- Scroll down and click the “Add to Home Screen” button.
- Then click the “Add” button at the top of the screen.
- The App is now installed. Now click the home button and find the ShadConnect app on your home screen and run from here

Open the URL below with either Chrome Internet Browser or the built in Internet browser like Samsung Internet then follow the below steps.
- Once the site loads depending on your internet browser there should be a popup to install at the bottom of the screen or a install button near the address bar. See examples below. If these do not appear click the settings icon and click “Add to home screen"
- Once installed browse to your installed apps list and find the new ShadConnect app icon then click and hold then click ‘Add to Home' to copy the app to your home screen.
- The app is now installed and available to run from your home screen.

- Navigate to Company Resources->Company Details->Prequalification Form
Once you have logged into the Contractor portal the first step is to go through the Prequalification form for your company. For this process you will need to make sure you have available all your required documents for Public Liability insurance, workcover etc and any other relevant documents depending on the type of company you have.
4. Navigate to Company Resources->Company Details->Site Onboarding
The next step is the Site Onboarding forms. Here you will need to provide any site specific files and information for every Shadforth site you are performing work on. There are 2 forms in this process for each site outlined below.
- Site Onboarding Form- You will need to provide Site Specific SWMS, registration certificates, PRA, maintenance records etc for each site
- Site Specific SWMS Review – Fill out review form for your site specific SWMS for each site
5. Navigate to Company Resources->Company Details->Invite/Link Subcontractors
On this form you can link any subcontractors who you will be engaging to do work on a Shadforth Site. They will need to follow the Prequal, Site Onboarding etc processes as well. If they exist in the system already you will link them to your company if they do not exist they will be sent a new registration form.
6. Navigate to Company Resources->Company Details->Invite/Link Workers
On this form you can add your companies workers, we will be using Shadconnect for the general Shadforth inductions and all project inductions and for all workers to sign into site each morning and view details of daily kick off meeting. You will need their Full name, email address and mobile phone number. They will receive a email/SMS invitation to complete their registration form. They will then need to install the app on their mobile device by following one of the installation instructions
