All Shadforth staff who operate a drone for the purpose of taking photos on site are required to be registered with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

- Upload your accreditation to Shadconnect - Under ‘Employee Resources’ > 'My Documents'
Follow the steps on this link for accreditation
In addition to registration, the following is required for every flight:
- A PTA Must be completed in Shadconnect
- The Open Sky app, or CASA's ‘Can i fly here’ app must be checked and must verify your location is safe to fly
- The area must be assessed to ensure:
- You are not operating within restricted airspace such as near an aerodrome
- Wind conditions are appropriate
- You are not flying over or next to a busy road
- You will not be flying over, or within 30 meters of people
- Visual line of site between, o the operator (you) and the drone can, and is maintained
